Before I link to the actual stories, I must say this: over’s brief history I’ve quoted and linked to several stories by the Farnam Street blog. It’s a great, great source and “Mr. Farnam” (for lack of a name, since the blog is anonymous) does it all without advertising or subscription fees. If any of the books recommended in his posts interests you, you can support his blog by clicking on the Amazon link he provides – he earns a small commission on those sales.

On to the books: Farnam St. has recently posted a 5-book recommended list by Robert Cialdini, most famous in the investment world for his book “Influence: the Psychology of Persuasion”. Now he’s got a much-bigger list by Nassim Taleb, and between the two lists there’s definitely good reading. I’ve posted other reading lists before (here, here and here), and this post on anti-libraries might also help.
